What we do
CCEJ wins with community organizing, education, political advocacy and coalition
building. Our victories include the elimination of two sources of air pollution
in South Seattle, the passage of a WA State EJ Act, forming the first regional EJ
alliance, and increasing health and regulatory agency action on environmental justice
issues.
CCEJ holds numerous public education events, including our successful annual
conference. We are best known for our effective alliance building, grassroots outreach
and base building efforts in communities of color. |
